Laguna del Inca".
Dedicatoria manuscrita en el retiro: "This is a hotel put up near the "Caracoles and Portillo" stations on the Transandino railway. It is only a few years old and made almost by the influence of foreign sportmen which wanted some shelter when going into the mountains. It is about 3000 mts. over sea level." Sin firma.
Cuenta que el Ferrocarril Trasandino puso este hotel entre las estaciones "Caracoles y Portillo", requerido por deportistas extranjeros que necesitaban refugio al ingresar a la montaña, a 3000 mts. sobre el nivel del mar.
