With the goal to evaluate the effect of using feeding tubes over the mortality in multiple trauma patients under hospital care, three groups of 13 dogs each, were randomized to receive esophageal feeding tube, gastric feeding tube or no tube at all.Mortality was 23,07% within both feeding tube groups, while the no tube group showed a mortality of 38,46%.
